Our commitments

Our approach to social responsibility is built on four human-centered pillars:
  • Collaborating for sustainable and responsible food
  • Collaborating with professionals and consumers
  • Collaborating with our producers and employees
  • Collaborating for the planet and future generations
It is based on the cooperative spirit and the strong commitments of our member producers, who aim for sustainable production and the security of farms for future generations. It is inseparable from our development strategy and seeks to preserve French dairy expertise, acting with ethics and transparency in both our operations and our relationships with stakeholders. The issues grouped under these four pillars stem from our ISO 26000 analysis. We have prioritized them to enable everyone within the Group to engage effectively without losing focus.

Our 18 priorities

1. Ensure the health and safety of our teams
2. Highlight our local roots
3. Contribute to the excellence of the dairy sector
4. Improve our energy consumption
5. Reduce our impact on climate change
6. Develop listening and satisfaction among clients and consumers
7. Ensure food safety and process performance
8. Communicate transparently with our stakeholders
9. Develop the expertise of our producers and the skills of our employees

10. Promote the circular economy
11. Manage our water consumption and discharges
12. Retain our teams and develop our employer brand
13. Foster social dialogue and diversity
14. Pursue continuous improvement to enhance our products and services
15. Promote animal welfare and respect biodiversity
16. Ensure the security of data and information systems
17. Reduce urban air pollution
18. Implement good business practices

The first five priorities are tied to shared objectives with our financiers under the Group’s “sustainability-linked” framework:

  • Reduce the lost-time accident frequency rate among Group employees to below 47.5 by 2025, and 40 by 2028.
  • Consolidate our very high level of sourcing from French agricultural and food products, increasing from 90% to 93% of purchases from producers and processors in France by 2028.
  • Maintain at 70% by 2028 the share of member farms engaged in Non-GMO Pasture Milk, PDO, or Organic segments.
  • Reduce industrial site energy consumption to cut emissions intensity by 30% by 2028 compared with 2017.
  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from France Frais freight transport vehicles by 20% in absolute terms and 28% in intensity per ton delivered between 2023 and 2030.
  • Measure our main Scope 3 impact by conducting a CAP’2ER assessment across all member farms by the end of 2025.
